A Voice That Helped Define Heavy Metal

For more than five decades, Udo Dirkschneider has been one of the most recognizable voices in heavy metal.

As the original singer of Accept, Udo played a major role in the rise of German heavy metal. His unmistakable voice can be heard across classic Accept albums including Breaker, Restless and Wild, Balls to the Wall, and Metal Heart.

Songs such as “Balls to the Wall,” “Fast as a Shark,” “Metal Heart,” and “Princess of the Dawn” became metal classics and helped build a legacy that continues to influence bands and musicians around the world.

After leaving Accept, Udo formed U.D.O., beginning another chapter of his career with albums such as Animal House, Mean Machine, and Faceless World. Decades later, he continues to record, tour, and bring his unmistakable voice to stages around the world.

Udo Dirkschneider Joins Rock Kommander

We are incredibly happy to finally welcome Udo Dirkschneider to the Rock Kommander family and bring another icon of heavy metal into the game.

Starting Monday, August 31, Udo will officially join Rock Kommander as a playable musician.
