Mikkey Dee doesn’t need much of an introduction. Best known for his legendary drumming with Motörhead, Scorpions, and King Diamond, he’s helped define modern metal and hard rock. Now, he brings that legacy to the stage of Rock Kommander, where players can unlock and play as Mikkey in-game.

“I Just Wanted to Play Drums”

With over 45 years in the music industry, Mikkey reflects on a career that’s taken him across genres and around the world. From his technical work with King Diamond to the raw intensity of Motörhead, and now the melodic rock of Scorpions, every move he made came from instinct, not ambition.

“I never set out to be a rock star,” he says. “I just followed my passion and did what felt right.”

Even today, he still plays like it’s his first show, despite a recent injury that he’s now fully recovered from.
