From Seoul Streets to the Main Stage

Kimmie’s story begins in the heart of Hongdae, Seoul’s indie music district. Raised in a strict household that expected her to follow a “respectable” path, she always felt like an outsider. That all changed when she discovered a local punk band at thirteen. The sound, the chaos, the freedom lit a fire inside her that’s still burning.

She bought a beat-up guitar, taught herself to play, and started crafting her own gritty, aggressive style. Orange hair, ripped fishnets, and a signature leather jacket became her statement to the world: 

I won’t be who you want me to be.

By eighteen, Kimmie had launched her own band, The Seoul Riots, quickly building a reputation in the underground scene. Her message of defiance resonated with a new generation, one tired of expectations and ready to riot.
