Kiko Loureiro Enters Rock Kommander

The Rock Kommander 1.19.0 update welcomes legendary guitarist Kiko Loureiro as a new playable character.

Kiko is known worldwide for his work with Megadeth and as a founding member of Angra. Over the years he has built a reputation as one of the most technically skilled and expressive guitarists in modern metal. His playing blends speed, melody, and influences from Brazilian music, jazz, and classical styles, creating a unique sound that stands out on both stage and in the studio.

Now Kiko joins the Rock Kommander roster. Players will be able to unlock and strengthen him through his own Backstage Event, along with new limited time events and exclusive content.

Short 4-Day Events Continue

The 4-day events in this update bring fast-paced challenges and rewards for players who want quick action. This time, the lineup features Mikkey Dee, Cecilia Nappo, and Kiko Loureiro, each with their own event.

These shorter events remain a great way to jump in, complete objectives, and collect rewards without committing to a longer event cycle.

Tales of Rock Continues

The Tales of Rock story mode continues featuring Mikkey Dee, Cecilia Nappo, and Jeff Waters.

Jeff Waters’ story ties into the upcoming AMERIKAN KAOS album, The Sheeple Swing, which closes the trilogy that began with Armageddon Boogie and continued with All That Jive. To celebrate the release, one Tales of Rock story each month will draw inspiration from songs on the new album.

Merge Game Changes

With this update, the merge game will no longer be tied directly to the AMERIKAN KAOS project. Instead, it will shift to a genre-based style, giving players different musical themes and styles to explore over time.

The merge system will continue to evolve, but future events will focus on the ongoing Backstage events.
