A Stronger Start for New Players

The Rock Kommander 1.18.0 update introduces a fully reworked tutorial. It is now longer, story driven, and structured to guide players through the core systems step by step.

Players learn how to create bands, recruit musicians through the Recording Booth, level up characters, and conquer the Map of Metal. The flow is clearer and more focused on showing how the game really works.

The biggest reward comes at the end. After completing the tutorial, players can choose one licensed character for free. You can start your journey with your favorite real world musician right away.

Achievement Passes – Character Focused Progression

A major addition in this update is the new Achievement Pass system.

Each licensed character can have their own permanent Achievement Pass. This pass is tied directly to that specific musician and focuses on upgrading and progressing that character faster.

The system works in a simple loop. Complete character specific tasks, earn points, progress the pass, and unlock rewards.

There is a Free track that gives value to all players. There is also a Premium track that offers even more high-value upgrade materials. The focus is character progression. The rewards help you strengthen your licensed musician and reach important milestones faster.

Events in 1.18.0

This update also brings a strong lineup of events. Basic Events feature Joacim Cans, Oscar Dronjak, and Gus G, giving players new chances to improve and strengthen their bands. Tales of Rock continues with stories featuring Gus G and Mikkey Dee, while the Backstage spotlight turns to Cecilia Nappo.

At the same time, Genre Events return across Punk, Thrash, Rock, Metal, and Blues, offering fresh challenges for every band style.

Core Improvements and UI Updates

Beyond events and new systems, the 1.18.0 update improves the overall experience.

Players will notice new Pre Fight screens and Post Fight screens, improved battle scene visuals, smoother combat, new loading screens, and a redesigned Settings menu. Manager Level Up adjustments also refine the game economy, while the Achievement system is better integrated into progression.

These changes make the game feel cleaner, faster, and more polished.

Shortly after release, we launched update 1.18.1.
